Name: Marr Vell

Race: Norterner

Class: Dragoon

Age: 22

Description:White hair, purple eyes, 5' 11", 150 lbs.

History:Marr Vell was raised by his kind and loving foster parents, in the rural village of Edgeville. He knew his whole life that he was adopted, with only faint memories of his homeland. Memories of crashing waves, and a haven of birds. After his foster parents both passed away, Marr felt that he no longer held any ties to edgeville. So he left to travel the world in search of his birth home.During his travels he was attacked by thieves. His years of working with his father had taught him little of combat, his strength was more than a match for the first few, but he was quickly overwelmed. As the brigands were about to finish him, a wandering Dragoon came to his rescue. The Dragoon easily smote down all the thieves with the broad side of his sword. After being helped up by the Dragoon, Marr asked, "Why did you spare them? They were villains, you should have killed them, they will only commit more acts of violance."To which the Dragoon replied, "It is not mine or your place to decide their fates. But now they see the consequences of their actions, perhaps they will think twice before trying to attack a defenseless traveler."This inspired Marr Vell, who begged the Dragoon to teach him to be a Dragoon himself. The dragoon was apreahensive at first, but upon looking into Marr's eyes the Dragoon decided to take him in.The years of training were harsh on Marr, but with an amazing amount of determination, he perservered. After five years of difficult training Marr surpassed even the Dragoon's long trained skills.Later that year the Dragoon left. "Marr," he said, "you've grown beyond even my expectations, you've earned this." Upon saying these words, the Dragoon handed Marr a sword. Marr recognized the sword instantly, it was the very sword the Dragoon used to save him all those years ago. "Take it, it's yours now." With that the Dragoon left for parts unknown.Afterwards, Marr wandered the country side, doing the very deeds that the Dragoon had done for him. But still his life lacked purpose. Until one day, he met a young druidess named Kalinka Blue. After rescuing her from a group of goblins the two became fast friends. Though a little goofy at times, Marr really felt comfortable in Kalinka's company.Months later, Marr and Kalinka came across the Berserker Joneus Gold, he needed strong warriors to aid him and his grey knights in a war against chaos. Marr was never one to turn his back on those in need, so he signed up unquestionably, quickly making friends with joneus and his fellows in the process. Not long afterwards, in a sparring match with joneus, Marr learned a little of his own unknown heritage as a northerner. Like Joneus, Marr had the ability to shape-shift. The animal Marr chose was a hawk, which he saw as an appropriate avatar for his lost past. Now, Marr Vell, is a reknowned Dragoon. Best known for swooping in to rescue anyone who needs rescuing, and leaving without even asking for a reward.
